Exercises for the Soul
The Guild meets monthly on every 2nd Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Cameron Church, located at the southeast corner of E. Iowa Ave. and S. Pearl St., Denver. Everyone is welcome.
We get together to enjoy food and fellowship and observe the longest day of the year. On a day close to June 21st we meet for a potluck supper, followed by readings, shared by all present, that will help us celebrate the season!
5 Day Seminar
Every summer we get together for a long form retreat to study the synoptic gospels in depth for five days. See the link below for more information: Five Day Retreat
Every October we explore a particular topic along the journey of the spiritual path in the context of readings, art and other creative expression as well as time spent outdoors (weather permitting).
Each fall we select a book for discussion. At our first meeting of the book group, we set our preferences for how we will read the book together and set tentative dates and times for our meetings.
Join us on the second Monday of December at Cameron Church in Denver at the corner of Iowa Ave and Pearl Street in Denver. After sharing snacks at 6:30 – 7:00 p.m., we gather at 7:30 p.m. for the singing of carols and the reading of the advent story. We then participate in a creative activity making simple representations of various advent icons, that helps us get in touch with the meaning of the season and our relationship to it.
On a day close to December 21 we get together to experience food, light and wisdom in observance of the Winter Solstice. After a potluck supper, we share poetry and other readings that are part of our Winter Solstice Ritual. This event encourages each of us to pause and ponder where we’ve been and where we might be going as we approach the end of the calendar year – all in the Christmas Season.
Experiencing Soul and Spirit
We are a small group of soul friends, committed to both ourselves and the world coming into their fullest potential and expression.
This is the heart of all our gatherings and studies. Together, we challenge our assumptions, share resources and discoveries, commit to conscious choice making, and celebrate our breakthroughs. We weep and dance with all the world’s coming alive.
Such a journey integrates the unique contribution of each individual thru the sense of a supportive vision. The individual’s journey is essential for all that is coming alive.
“We are called to heal the world in the image of our most beautiful imaginings. ” – Rabbi Marc Gafni in his book, The Mystery of Love
