Regular Meetings

Monthly Exercises for the Soul Second Monday

Each month on the  second Monday, we gather on Zoom only until further notice. Everyone is welcome. If you’d like to attend, see Contact Us and send your email.  We always welcome guests and would love to have you join us.

Summer Solstice

We get together to enjoy food and fellowship and observe the longest day of the year. On a day close to June 21st we meet for a potluck supper, followed by readings, shared by all present, that will help us celebrate the season!

Fall Retreat

Every October, we explore a particular topic along the journey of the spiritual path in the context of readings, art and other creative expression as well as time spent outdoors (weather permitting).

Book Group

Each fall we select a book for discussion. At our first meeting of the book group, we set our preferences for how we will read the book together and set tentative dates and times for our meetings.

Advent Experience

Join us the second Monday in December on Zoom for our annual celebration of the Advent Season.  Social gathering will be 6:15 in case you can join us a tad early.  We will be reading short passages of the Christmas Story. Then, each of us will randomly draw a single icon like the manger, Mary, Joseph or the Divine Child, among many others. This is followed by a creative fun art activity making simple representations of the advent symbol that chose you.  The task is to ask ourselves throughout the year, “How might this particular symbol remind me of the way Divine Birth appears in my life into the coming new year?

Winter Solstice

Each year, join us a December evening near the 21st of the month on Zoom as we celebrate the solstice and the turning of the light much like the ancient Celts at New Grange in Ireland.  You are welcome to share a short poem or other reading as another symbol of the season as it’s new light surrounds us, inviting another level of inspiration.  We are encouraged to be held by the light within, asking us, “how might we notice a different nature of imagination, carried by Solstice Light as we cross the threshold into the new year?”
